Dance Revolution with Erika accepts students of all levels and all ages. From group classes for beginners to advanced solo lessons for the serious dancer, DRWE will provide students with the skills needed to express themselves in art form. As Owner & Artistic Director, I plan to make my studio a comfortable environment where a passion for dancing is our common goal. I want to inspire students and help them achieve their goals, whether they are personal or professional in nature. I truly believe that dance builds confidence and I will challenge my students to do and be their best! Most of all, I want my students to enjoy themselves and the art of dance. In addition to teaching recreational dance, gymnastics and cheering to my students, I have also taught competitive classes. Some competitions that I’ve choreographed award-winning routines for include: ADA, I Love Dance, Showstopper, Star Systems, Step up 2 Dance and Talent America to name a few. Over the years, I’ve also choreographed and directed several routines that were performed at the Magic Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World Resort.

Breanne Homer
Dance & Gymnastics Instructor

Breanne Homer stepped foot in her first dance class at Eve Madison Dance Studio when she was just 3 years old. At 9, she moved on to another local dance studio, where she studied for the next 18years. As a member of the dance team, she performed in many Regional and National competitions, as well as traveling to participate in Walt Disney World’s Magic Music Days She has been teaching along side with Erika for the past 9 yrs. Breanne graduated from Revere High School in 2001 where she was the Captain of the Gymnastics Team. Off the dance floor, Breanne works as a Emergency Room Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.


Amanda Gregory
Dance Instructor and Choreographer

Amanda Gregory received her first pair of ballet shoes at the age of two and has been dancing ever since. Amanda has studied the art of dance at various dance studios throughout her early childhood and joined a competitive dance team at a local studio at the age of eight. Amanda has competed in many regional and national level dance competitions, receiving various awards and titles, and has also performed at Walt Disney World's Epcot. At the young age of thirteen, Amanda started her teaching career as Erika's student demonstrator and then later became an assistant teacher. After graduating high school, Amanda attended Curry College to peruse her dream of teaching children and to receive a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

Now that Amanda has completed her studies and received her degree, she has been continuing to do what she truly loves: educating children both inside the classroom and on the dance floor. She currently works in a second grade classroom at a local charter school. Amanda is also NFHS/ (National Federation of State High School Federations) MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association) coach certified and was the cheerleading coach for a local high school competition team this past fall. Amanda continues to instruct and choreograph at the studio, expressing her love for the art of dance, as well as her passion for educating children.

Stephanie Beneski

Since the age of 3 Stephanie has studied tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, acrobatics and lyrical at the Eleanor Rubino Academy of Performing Arts. She has taught dance in primary, intermediate and advanced levels for over 20 years. She graduated from the Dance Teacher’s Training Course sponsored by the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston. Stephane is a former Regional and National Dance Champion, a former pageant title holder and has performed in Walt Disney World, Hershey Park, Miss Massachusetts Pageant and many benefits and Gala events. She has taken Master Classes with renowned Choreographers throughout her dance career. Also, she has completed the National Medal Test Program from the National Dance Council of America in ballet, tap and jazz.

 

 

 

Alycia Carangelo
Gymnastics Instructor

Alycia Carangelo started dancing at the age of 3 years old. She studied lyrical, gymnastics, and jazz. Alycia became involved in a competition team at the age of 6 and competed for 12 years. Alycia has been teaching dance for 5 years now. She is currently a full-time student at Salem State University studying dance as major. Once graduating she hopes to take the skills she has learned and open her own studio.

Shondell (Bishop) Butler
Hip Hop Instructor

Shondell (Bishop) Butler, recently casted for the movie Ghostbusters, is a 24 year old who strives for success as a dancer/choreographer in the industry. Bishop currently works as a performance coach and choreographer for the young singing artist group 3D, and was previously a choreographer for Bentley University's competing team FIRE Step Squad, one of New England's best competitors in the "Break the Stage" competition where his work has placed every year. He's won scholarships from both the Monsters of Hip Hop and Pulse on Tour dance conventions and trains at Broadway Dance Center (NY), Millennium and Movement Lifestyle (LA). Every year Bishop finds a special cause to create and host a dance project for where he and the community helps raise large amounts of money.

Giana Leone
Dance Instructor

Giana Leone’s dance career started at the young age of 3, and her very first dance class was taught by Erika herself. At only 20 years old, Giana has accomplished many accolades throughout her 17 years in the world of dance. She has trained under Erika, The Boston Ballet, and Phunk Phenomenon. She specializes in various styles of hip hop and lyrical. During her time at Phunk Phenomenon, Giana was a member of the Official Jr Dance Team of the Boston Celtics, Lil Phunk, for many years and has competed 4 times representing the USA at Hip Hop International Dance Competition in Las Vegas in the junior, varsity, and megacrew divisions. In 2010, her team received a bronze medal at HHI. She has also competed in the dance competition “World of Dance” and placed second in the competition. Giana has appeared on television for NECN “New Year’s Eve Special”, as well as Paula Abdul’s “Live To Dance”. She has performed for many companies and charities, including Disney, Puma, KangaROOS, Hasbro, The Special Olympics, Boston Children’s Hospital, Paul Pierce’s Rally, and has also performed as a backup dancer for a musical group. Giana has taken a countless amount of master classes and workshops from famous choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Willdabeast Adams, and Parris Goebel. She has also attended many dance conventions such as the PULSE Dance Experience and Monsters of Hip Hop. Giana has danced 4 times in Walt Disney World, most recently at Dance the World Parade at the Magic Kingdom with Dance Revolution with Erika. While attending Dance Revolution with Erika, Giana has performed and placed at many regional and national dance competitions, placing top for her very first solo.Giana graduated from Arlington Catholic High School in 2016, and attended Mount Ida College for 2 years. While at Arlington Catholic, she joined the Cheerleading team and continued to cheer during her years at Mount Ida. She is currently attending Lasell College and is majoring in Applied Forensic Science with a dream of becoming a detective for the CSI. Giana has had the proud honor of having Erika as a mentor and helping her initiate her dance career, which now spans from student, to student demonstrator, to assistant teacher, and now proudly teaching alongside Erika as a colleague and friend.
